Description
Motet "Cum jejunatis nolite fieri", for five voices (SSATB), by Portuguese composer Manuel Cardoso (1566-1650). The motet is intended for Ash Wednesday and is preserved in Cardoso's "Livro de varios motetes", printed in Lisbon in 1648. Original note values were kept in this edition and the work was transposed a second downwards.
